ASU Football Notebook: Furman Game To Be Televised

BOONE, N.C.- Appalachian State University football has added another televised game to its 2010 slate, as ASU's contest against Furman on October 30 will be now be televised locally on three stations.

The game will still kickoff at 3:30 p.m., and can be seen on WMYA in the Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C. area, WMYV-TV in Greensboro, N.C. and WLFL-TV in Raleigh, N.C.

FOOTBALL SHOW WILL FEATURE FORMER ASU QB ARMANTI EDWARDS

Former Mountaineer quarterback and current Carolina Panther Armanti Edwards will be featured on "Football Saturday's in the South" this weekend.

The show will include a feature on Edwards and interviews with the "Voice of the Mountaineers" David Jackson, and current Mountaineer wideout Blake Elder.

The feature on the third round 2010 NFL draft pick can be viewed Saturday, July 31 at 1 p.m. on five stations in North Carolina. For fans in the Charlotte, N.C. area the show will air on WSOC (ABC), on WXLV (ABC) in Greensboro, N.C., on WFXI (FOX) in Greenville, N.C., on WTVD (ABC) in Raleigh, N.C. and on WSFX (FOX) in Wilmington, N.C. For those in the Tri-Cities, (Virginia/Tennessee region), the show can be seen on WKPT (ABC).
