Mountaineers in the NFL Update- Week 17

Each week during the NFL season, GoASU.com will detail how the three former Mountaineers playing in the league fared during the previous weekend's games.

Jason Hunter had one sack for a three-yard loss in the Lions' 37-23 loss to Chicago. Hunter also added two quarterback hurries. For the season, Hunter finished with 34 tackles and five sacks, both are career highs.

Corey Lynch blocked a 40-yard Matt Bryant field goal in the Buccaneers' 20-10 loss to Atlanta.  Lynch finished the season by blocking both a punt and kick for the Bucs.

Marques Murrell was inactive for tthe New York Jets. Murrell finished the regular-season with 12 tackles and a forced fumble. The Jets will play the Bengals next weekend in the playoffs.
