CARY, N.C. - Appalachian State University men's tennis team picked up one win at the Carolina ITA Regional located at the Cary Tennis Center this afternoon.

The Mountaineers captured two singles matches as Zach Bost defeated UNC's James Coxe in the first round and Davidson's Nicky Kunz in the second round.

Bost will advance to Round 32 and will compete on Friday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. The Mountaineers doubles teams will begin action on Friday, Oct. 19 at 9 a.m.

RESULTS

Bost defeated Coxe 7-5, 6-1

Bost defeated Kunz 6-7, -3, 6-3

Carson Greve lost to Matias Di Pasquale (Coastal Carolina) 3-6, 4-6

Greve lost to Carolos Arboleda (Elon) 6-7, 2-6

Sebastien King lost to William O'Connell (Presbyterian) 6-2, 3-6, 6-7

Andrew McKinnon lost to Ayrton Wibowo (Clemson) 4-6, 6-2, 5-7
