BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis gears up for its third tournament of the fall season, as the Mountaineers host the ASU Fall Invitational on Friday, Oct.26 and Saturday, Oct. 27 at the ASU Varsity Courts.

The Mountaineers will be joined with four other teams: East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Presbyterian College, and North Carolina Central as play begins on Friday at 9:30 a.m. The flight tournament will be the final fall tournament for the Apps this season, as their spring season begins in January.

Senior Ellie Linsell leads the Mountaineers, capturing a victory at the ITA Regional in Winston-Salem last weekend. Linsell has captured six singles victories during the fall and looks to capture the No. 1 flight this weekend.
