BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis wrapped up the final day of the ASU Fall Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by sophomore Gabby Gabriel and junior Jessica Thaggard, both winning their respective singles and doubles flights.

Senior Ellie Linsell shared the top spot in singles Flight 1, winning two matches, equaling the win total of Coastal Carolina's Libby Scott and East Carolina's Neena Wanko.

In doubles, Gabriel and Thaggard continued to shine, being only App State doubles tandem to go undefeated, as they captured Flight 3 with three victories. Senior Jennifer Ansari and Gabriela Celi shared Flight 2 with tandems from East Carolina and North Carolina Central.

With their final fall tournament ending, the Mountaineers now focus on their regular season approaching in January. The Apps open play on the road against North Carolina A&T.
