BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's track team continues their road swing as they travel to Lynchburg, Va. for the Liberty Quad meet at Tolsma Indoor Track Center.

Last weekend at the JDL Invitational, junior Breanna Alston earned a second-place finish in the 200m dash and a fifth-place finish in the 60m dash, while Taryn Stern garnered a ninth in the 800m run.

Cassie Crawford led the Mountaineers as she posted the only first-place finish on the afternoon in the pole vault. Crawford jumped 3.85m to take home the first-place overall finish, while Debra Domermuth earned a sixth-place finish in the pole vault.

App State's 4x400m relay team picked up a second-place finish as Stern, Alston, D'Shawrna McLucas, and Breahna Morrison crossed the line at 3:52.99 in their first run as a team this season.

The Apps rank in the top-five in 13 events on the performance list for the Liberty Quad as they faceoff against Southern Conference foe, Elon and will also see competition from James Madison, VMI, Liberty and Richmond.

The meet is scheduled to kickoff on Friday, Feb. 8 at 3:30 p.m. with the men's weight throw, while running events start at 4 p.m.
