Tailgater of the Game

Appalachian fans' pregame destination and hospitality area is Mountaineer Village, which lines both sides of the sidewalk where Mountaineer Walk takes place, and in front of Newland Hall. Mountaineer fans and families of all ages are encouraged to visit this fan-friendly and interactive area.

This area features fun activities for Mountaineers “in training” and offers a wide-open space for all fans to enjoy the gameday experience.  Each game will feature events sponsored by our corporate partners, as well as inflatables to keep the kids entertained prior to kickoff. 

Yosef and his fellow cheerleaders will definitely be dropping by before each game to check out what Mountaineer Village has to offer.

Treat Yosef to an exciting pregame experience. Mountaineer Village is for fans of all ages.

Mountaineer Village activities and amenities include:

Game 1 - Sept. 8 vs. Montana

• Inflatables will be available from 2-6 p.m.

Regular Features

Guests will overlook the stadium and be treated to the ultimate pregame experience, including catering by Pepper's, the Official Caterer of Mountaineer Village. The Hospitality Tent will be located on the north side of Kidd Brewer Stadium in the grassy area adjacent to softball's Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium and the Sofield Family Indoor Practice Facility.

Family Fun Zone

Previously located behind Duncan Hall, the Family Fun Zone is being incorporated into Mountaineer Village. Bring the kids to Mountaineer Village to burn off some energy before the game. Activities will include visits by the ASU cheerleaders, Yosef, sign-making and more!
