SUNSET BEACH, N.C. - Kerri Dice tied for 12th place at 13 strokes over par and Appalachian State University women's golf finished sixth at the three-round Sea Trail Intercollegiate with scores of 305-309-314-928 (+64).
Dice posted rounds of 77-77-75-229 (+13) over the weekend for her top finish of the fall. Her three rounds were also her best three of the fall for the Mountaineers.
Brooke DeHart tied for 20th at 73-81-79-233 (+17). Her Friday 73 was her best round of the young season by five strokes, and her lowest since last fall's Draper Invitational.
Jordan Kreuter matched a career-best with a 74 in the opening round and finished 23rd with a 74-77-83-234 (+18) on the weekend. Kristina Boo carded an 81-74-82-237 (+21) for 33rd and Mimi Burke placed with 42nd with an 83-82-78-243 (+27).
Southern Conference rival Western Carolina took home the team title at 897 (+33) and Catamount Josefine Sundh wrapped up the individual title at 71-72-73-216 (par).
The Apps have a month off before heading to the Boscobel Intercollegiate at Pendleton, S.C.
