PENDLETON, S.C. - Brooke DeHart carded rounds of 78 and 76 (+10) to tie for fifth place as Appalachian State University women's golf finished third overall at the Boscobel Intercollegiate this weekend. The Mountaineers scored 317-314-631 (+55) over two rounds.
Right behind DeHart was freshman Mimi Burke, who placed seventh at 78-78-156 (+12) in just her third competition this fall. Fellow newcomer Kristina Boo finished 12th at 79-80-159 (+15).
Jordan Kreuter shot an 87-80-167 (+23) for 28th place and Kerri Dice tied for 29th at 82-86-168 (+24).
Host Wofford took home the team title at 608 (+32) while Gardner-Webb was second, four strokes ahead of ASU at 627 (+51). Wofford swept the top-three individual finishes as Sarah Herbert won with a 74-74-148 (+4).
ASU finishes out its fall slate on Nov. 2-3 at the Pinehurst Challenge at Pinehurst, N.C.
