As a Junior (2008-09) • Set a new career high with 21 points at home against UNCG on 7-of-15 shooting. • Sank 5-of-7 shots for 14 points with three assists against Elon. • Led the team with a then-season-high 17 points and nine assists in just 18 minutes on the court against Milligan. • Was 3-of-5 from the arc for 14 points against Kentucky. • Had a team-high 15 points with three three-pointers in just 17 minutes (due to foul trouble) in the loss to ETSU. • Scored 11 points in his return to the starting five with three three-pointers at Wofford. • Posted 13 points with three three-pointers off the bench in the win at Furman. • Scored 11 points and shot 75 percent (3-of-4) from three-point range at Niagara. • Had a career-high nine assists and 10 points in the overtime win against Charlotte. • Matched a then career-high with five assists in the opener at UNCW.
As a Sophomore (2007-08) • Was ASU’s starting point guard to begin the season and re-emerged as the starting point guard at the conclusion of the year. • Averaged 8.1 points per game on 49 percent shooting with just under two assists per game. • Led the SoCon in three-point percentage at 46.4 percent and made 45 three-pointers. • Scored a career-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the Nov. 29 loss to Davidson. • Scored 18 points on 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc in the BracketBusters loss to Niagara. • Scored 15 points with five assists in the home win over UNCG. • Had four or more assists seven times. • Posted 15 points in the second meeting with Davidson on 6-of-10 shooting. • Closed the season averaging 12.3 points over the last four games.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2006-07) • Played in all 33 games as the team’s reserve point guard behind D.J. Thompson. • Averaged 2.5 points on .468 shooting from the field and .433 shooting from three-point range. • Shot .590 and averaged 4.3 points in ASU’s final nine games. • Had a 1.58 assist-to-turnover ratio and shot .536 in league play. • Averaged an assist for every seven minutes of action, the second best average on the team. • Had a season-high eight points twice, against Brevard on Dec. 14 and at Western Carolina on Feb. 19. • Was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field against WCU on Feb. 19. • Hit a critical three-pointer at WCU that keyed an 11-4 run and led the Apps to victory. • Had a career-high five assists and no turnovers in the season-opening win against North Greenville to complement his six points on two three-pointers. • Posted six points on 2-of-3 shooting to help lead ASU to the San Juan Shootout title against Vanderbilt in his native Puerto Rico. • Had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio in 23 games. • Scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting against Wofford. • Was perfect from three-point range in five games. • Shot 60 percent from the field in ASU’s last six games of the season.
As a True Freshman (2005-06) • Played eight minutes in the season opener against UALR before fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his foot and missing the remainder of the season and taking a redshirt.
Before Appalachian • Was an all-conference player and conference MVP at Starmount (N.C.). • Broke school scoring record. • Averaged 24.6 points, 8.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game. • Was a member of the Winston-Salem Journal all-Northwest Team. • Coached at Starmount by former Mountaineer Kent Phillips.
