February 15, 2008 - Appalachian State University men's basketball will wrap up a grueling five-game in 10-day stretch Saturday when its faces North Division rival UNCG. Tipoff at the Spartan's Fleming Gym is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Mountaineers will be looking to rebound from Thursday’s 76-70 loss at Elon to fall to 16-9 overall and 11-5 in league play.

However, thanks to Chattanooga’s loss at Coll. of Charleston, the Apps remain a full game ahead of the Mocs for first place in the North Division.

Minter is leading the squad with 14.4 points per game on 59.6 percent shooting. Donald Sims and Kellen Brand are also averaging double-figures with 12.2 and 10.5 points per game, respectively.
