Assistant Coach Liam Farrell
Alma Mater: Belmont Abbey, 2000
Years at ASU: Fifth season

Liam Farrell is in his fifth season with Appalachian after a four-year standout career as a defender at Belmont Abbey. Prior to coming to ASU, Farrell served as a graduate assistant at Lenior-Rhyne. Farrell is also the director of coaching for the High Country Avalanche Soccer Club.

A native of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., Farrell is a 2000 graduate of Belmont Abbey, where he played four years for Stahlschmidt on the soccer team. An integral part of the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference championship squad his senior season, Farrell was named to both all-CVAC and all-Southeast squads. A contributor off the field, Farrell was also senior class president and the president of the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 1997-2000. Farrell holds an NSCAA National Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
